St Patrick's Day is such a fun holiday!! I love how excited my girls get!! I also love that there are no big expectations, no presents, no candy just fun!! 
Elliott came home from school the night before St. Patrick's day and had all kinds of things to teach us leprechauns and how to catch them. She insisted on building a trap to catch one so that he would have to give her all his gold! The trap was pretty good! She made it out of a shoe box and she made sure to put in a little chair for him to sit on, some food and some jewelry to help bring him in! Well.... we didn't catch that sneaky little leprechaun this year!!! He did however leave a HUGE mess for us to clean up!! Here are the girls checking out the trap, it appears that he went in and ate some food but then ran back out! Sneaky sneaky!
Elliott with her trap! She was so proud if it! We tried to keep it for next year but it was just too messy so she got rid of it and we will have to make another one next year! how fun!
Look at all those green foot prints!! That crazy guy walked all over the kitchen, on the floors, counters and even the fridge!!
That little green man left us another surprise in the bathroom.. footprints and potty!! Rya thought this was so "disgusting" she was so funny. She said she knew it was a boy because he didn't use any toilet paper and he forgot o flush haha!
The leprechaun also walked down the hall and into the girls room, he walked all over the walls and the fish tank! What a big mess!!
Of course we had to have a fun green food day too! We had green pancakes for breakfast with green milk! Yum! I was going to make Elliott a special green lunch for school but they had a field trip that day so she had school lunch! What a fun day! I should have taken a picture of the girls in their new St. patty's day shirts, they are cute!!
